South Fulton Running Partners

Welcome to the South Fulton Running Partners Website.

South Fulton Running Partners is a recreational, non-profit running organization founded in 1979. The history of the organization started from a few African-American Runners in Southwest Atlanta, who came together to promote good health, sponsor & plan events focused on running and educate the community on the art and science of recreational running.

The Partners’ longevity has been underscored by a legacy that has fellowship and family at its core. While running has been and continues to be the catalyst that brings us together, it’s the strength of our interpersonal relationships, and that love for family, that have kept us together.

The South Fulton Running Partners family network is committed to follow our purpose and create not only running relationships domestically, but also around the world! Each of us individually realize that our collective cooperation has the power to bend history in different ways and different degrees. The South Fulton Running Partners accomplishes this thru our motto: Running Partners Have More Fun

Our journey is still in its infancy, yet our energy is still fresh and that same energy will keep us actively engaged with fitness, fellowship, fun and food well into the 21st century and beyond.
