SFRP - Just Run
We don't run to beat each other, but to be with each other
We run to add life to our years
Some may run faster, but no one runs harder
When tired, we run some more
Training starts when the mind wants to quit
If you run, you're a runner, no matter how far or fast
If you train your mind for running, everything else will be easy
SFRP is the oldest African American running club in the country, starting in 1979. Many of the original member still run with us today!
More than a club, we support our members like family. When we are not running, we stay true to our motto: "Running Partners Have More Fun!"
SFRP uses our skills to support our community through various events like the Sickle Cell Road Race and volunteering in our neighborhoods.

Come out and run with us then stick around for refreshments, music, and fun. All runners and running clubs are invited.
Stay for the panel discussion moderated by "The Real Runners of Atlanta". The panel will consist of the leaders and founders of several local and national running clubs, including Black Girls Run, Black Men Run, Running Nerds, National Black Marathoners and of course South Fulton Running Partners.
Our membership is limited to 55 members. If you are interested in joining, attend our weekly runs. Let our membership chair know you are interested, and she will let you know the steps to become a member as spots become available.
Running is what we do, family is who we are
Training is the opposite of hoping.
It was being a runner that mattered, not how fast or how far I could run.
